Matuško Postup (2017)

Although Postup is appellation next to Dingač, this geographical locality is often cooing as younger brother of the Croatians most famous Dingač appellation, which is often related to inferior quality but this thesis is not as nearly correct.

Matuško family is successfully engaged in wine-making over the centuries and therefore comes true commitment to the vision of family enological style, and the best proof is a new cellar built on the model of the French châteaues. This wine is dark purple red color with blue reflections. On the nose, typical dusty aromas of variety Plavac Mali is combined with notes of raisins and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it has pleasant dry tannins and solid afterteaste.

Food pairing: With steaks and roasted fish, game, goose or duck in red wine sauces.
