Excellence, innovation and the production of award-winning, distinctive wines is brought to fruition in the family’s new state-of- the-art wine cellar. Here, five metres underground, in stainless steel fermenting tanks and oak barrels, the iconic Istrian varietals are crafted and matured.
This noble indigenous Istrian varietal wine is produced using traditional fermentation methods and aged in oak barrels in its own yeast for nine months. It has a distinctive yellow straw colour. Its aroma is a beautiful blend of fruit, flowers and spices cloaked in vanilla. The wine is dry, salty, soft and rounded with a fine bitter finish.
