Muscat Ruža (translated: the flower - rose) is inginenous form part of Istria near the city of Poreč. A very interesting and rare grape, which has red skins givin a very nice dark rose color of wine.
As the name suggests, strong rose flavour is present, giving this off-dry wine a very pleasent taste. This wine is quite unique, since the total planted vineryards (from all producers) are less than 20 hectares.
Besides the strong floral aroma, there is a nice balance between acidity and alcohol, which makes this wine appealing ass an aperitif or as dessert pairing.
Food pairing: Excellent with chinese sweet-sour food, or fresh fruits like strawberries.

Tradition of wine making has been family legacy throughout generations. Wine was produced in the family for centuries, mostly for personal use. In 2007, they started to produce wines for the market.
Vili Ritoša planted the vineyard according to the highest standards, invested in the purchase of modern winery equipment, and equipped the cellar with quality wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks that control the temperature of fermentation and wine storage.
His Teran and Cabernet Sauvignon express the pure Istrian Terroir of red soil. A very interesting winemaker on the rise!
