Laguna Festigia Malvasia Istriana (2020)

Here, where Alpine and Mediterranean climates meet in harmony, is the home of the Malvasia Istriana grape variety, though it is also found across the Italian border. And here, on this most northerly Adriatic peninsula, Vina Laguna Festigia takes Istria’s celebrated grape to a new pitch.

In 2015, the summer was warm and ripe grapes were hand-picked early, then immediately chilled to preserve the true fruit and floral aroma of Malvasia at its peak, with a finishing note of acacia blossom honey.

Food pairing: fresh seafood, poultry and soft cheeses.
